First Leeds B7LA's

First Leeds have placed their Volvo B7LA Wright Eclipse Fusion Bendy Buses back into service after about 1 year of been out of service and stored at Hunslet Park and Cherry Row, they went off to Volvo for some heavy modifications to both the chassis and engine and will hopefully last longer than what they would have done without the modifications. The buses are now been used on the 95 service between Leeds Rail Station and Boddington Hall via Headingley, the buses are bright orange with a blue skirt and are branded as 'The Orange' and their is a £1 fare in place for anyone travelling between Headingley & the University.

M-Travel

M-Travel are rapidly getting more & more new buses, first it was the Step Entrance Spectra's, then the Irisbus Agora Line and now they are starting to get a influx of second hand Tridents to replace the ageing Metrobuses, the first batch of Tridents has already arrived and these are Nottingham City Transport East Lancs Lolynes T406/T412/T413 & T409 BNN. They will then apparantly take delivery of another 10 Ex London Examples, the first of which has arrived at the depot in the form of ALX400 LG02 FEO still with it's centre door in place and not been touched as yet, it will be interesting to see if they operate with their centre doors in use because Metro aren't too keen on operators running double door buses in West Yorkshire.

First Leeds Hybrids

First Leeds are on their way to having the first batch of Wright Gemini bodied B5LH hybrid buses delivered, they are in an all over silver livery but are to have some modifications such as Vinyl Lettering applied. All 6 are expected to enter service mid March but one may enter service before March if all goes to plan. The final batch will consist of 22 but they will be delivered in the future. The fleetnumbers are 39201 to 39207 and the registration number of the first one is BJ60 BZA - Note the Birmingham registration... This is because Volvo have registered them at their Birmingham base & the information has been passed to Wright Bus in Ireland.

Centrebus Leeds

Centrebus Leeds have aquired 2 Scania Solars from their Leicster base, they are 702 - Y2 DRM & 704 - YN08 OAJ, they have ran 704 in Leeds back when they first started operating the Airport routes.
These 2 buses are expected to run on the normal services & not the airports but looking at 702's interior it looks as though it would be suitable for the Airport routes as it has a small set of luggage racks at the front.
