First Leeds Hybrids

First Leeds are on their way to having the first batch of Wright Gemini bodied B5LH hybrid buses delivered, they are in an all over silver livery but are to have some modifications such as Vinyl Lettering applied. All 6 are expected to enter service mid March but one may enter service before March if all goes to plan. The final batch will consist of 22 but they will be delivered in the future. The fleetnumbers are 39201 to 39207 and the registration number of the first one is BJ60 BZA - Note the Birmingham registration... This is because Volvo have registered them at their Birmingham base & the information has been passed to Wright Bus in Ireland.

Centrebus Leeds

Centrebus Leeds have aquired 2 Scania Solars from their Leicster base, they are 702 - Y2 DRM & 704 - YN08 OAJ, they have ran 704 in Leeds back when they first started operating the Airport routes.
These 2 buses are expected to run on the normal services & not the airports but looking at 702's interior it looks as though it would be suitable for the Airport routes as it has a small set of luggage racks at the front.
